10 September 2007 · Delegated
Landlord'S Supply, 1, Lake Road, Douglas, Isle Of Man, IM1 5af
Permission was granted for a temporary car park on the vacant area above the basement car park built as part of phase 1 of a residential redevelopment at the former Garage and Sawmills Site, Lake Road, Douglas, Isle of Man. The application was considered on a delegated basis. The site in question is essentially the roof slab of the phase 1 basement car park, left vacant while phase 2 of the residential scheme awaits approval and commencement. Permission was granted subject to three conditions. Officers were satisfied that the temporary use would not undermine the proper longer-term redevelopment of the site and would cause no adverse impact on neighbouring land.
The application was approved on 10 September 2007 under delegated authority. Officers concluded that the temporary car park was unlikely to prejudice the longer-term redevelopment of the site and would not have an adverse impact on adjoining or nearby land.

The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
