Permission was sought to erect a steel framed storage building on a small square piece of land on the southern side of the A26 St. Mark's Road, opposite Tanyard House, Braaid Road, St. Marks, Ballasalla in the parish of Malew. At the time of the application, a building approved under an earlier consent was already in place on the site. The case officer recommended the proposal be permitted. The Planning Committee granted permission on 29 December 2004, subject to three conditions.
The Planning Committee permitted the erection of a steel framed storage building on the site. The officer also recommended approval. The site is a small square piece of land on the southern side of the A26 St. Mark's Road, and a previously approved building was already in place on the land.

The site is within an area designated as Woodland on the 1982 Plan
Condition 1
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
This approval relates to the erection of a new building attached to the existing as shown in the elevational drawing, location plan and plan reference 390/1 all received on 19th October, 2004.
Condition 3
The site and building may only be used for the storage of arboricultural plant and associated equipment.
