22 March 2010 · Committee
Landlord'S Supply, Pavilion Site Block A, Fairway Drive, Ramsey, Isle Of Man, IM8 2bq
This application sought consent to erect two advertising signs at Pavilion Apartments on Fairway Drive, Ramsey, Isle of Man. The apartment blocks are situated to the north of Fairway Drive and to the west of Claughbane Drive. The Planning Committee considered the design and siting of the proposed signs, their impact on the surrounding area, and any implications for highway safety. These were the principal issues assessed in the officer report. Express consent was granted on 22 March 2010, subject to two conditions. The officer had also recommended approval, and the committee's decision was consistent with that recommendation.
The Planning Committee granted express consent for the two advertising signs on 22 March 2010. The key planning considerations were the design and siting of the signs, their impact on the surrounding area, and highway safety, all of which were found to be acceptable.
