Permission was granted for alterations and the erection of a front porch at Stafflands Cottage, Ballafayle, Ramsey. The application was decided by delegated authority on 19 August 2010. Only exceptionally will permission be granted for extensions which measure more than 50% of the existing building in terms of floor space (measured externally).

The Alteration and Replacement of Windows
The proposed windows therefore comply with Planning Circular 1 / 98
policy 7 , part ii)
Condition 1
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
This approval relates to alterations and the erection of a front porch, as shown in drawing numbers ap(90)02, ap(90)01, ap(20)01, ae(20)01 and ae(ex)01, plus Photo01, all date stamped 1st July 2010, in addition to information in a letter from Dalrymple Associates, dated 28th July 2010 and date stamped 29th July 2010.
Condition 3
The external finishes of the extension must match those of the existing building in all respects.
