This application sought permission to erect external lighting within the curtilage of Sulby Primary School on Main Road, Sulby, Isle of Man. The school is a large detached building situated on the southern side of Main Road, east of Sulby Glen Road. The application was considered by the Planning Committee, which approved it on 31 January 2008. The case officer had also recommended the proposal for approval. Permission was granted subject to four conditions.

Condition 1
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
This approval relates to the submitted documents and drawing SP/01 and SP/02 all received on 19th October 2007 and the 23rd January 2008.
Condition 3
The lighting shall only be used when the building is in operation.
Condition 4
All existing lighting on plan SP/02 received on 23rd January 2008 shall be removed within 1 month of the new lighting being in operation.
