Permission was granted for the installation of replacement windows to the second-floor dormer at 7 Eastfield, Douglas, Isle of Man. The officer's report noted that the replacement dormer windows were designed to match those at the neighbouring property, No. 9 Eastfield, which had recently received planning permission for similar works. This consistency with the established character of the road was a key consideration. The proposal was also found to enhance the appearance of the application site within the Conservation Area and to sit comfortably within the street scene. The decision was made under delegated authority and three conditions were attached to the permission.

Condition 1

Condition 2
This permission relates to the installation of replacement windows as shown in 2028/1, photographs date stamped 29th October 2007, and supporting letter from Mr A Paganuzzi dated 28th October 2007.
Condition 3
The roof(s) must be finished in dark natural slate. ☑
