The approval was subject to a number of conditions, including one requiring a sample to be approved of the colour of the sheeting to be used. The applicant has submitted photographs of the finishes which have been used – the building was completed in 2008. These are silver for the main cladding, gullwing grey for the roof and blue for the trim and flashings. The finishes result in a building which is smart and fits in with the industrial estate of which it is part. It is considered that the proposed materials satisfy the condition.
