This application sought permission to retain two advertising signs already in place at Snugborough Trading Estate, Union Mills, in the parish of Braddan on the Isle of Man. The Department of Local Government and the Environment gave express consent for the retention of the signage. The decision was handled on a delegated basis by case officer Steve Stanley and was issued on 25 July 2007. Consent was granted subject to seven conditions.

Condition 1
a) The development hereby permitted shall be commenced before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
b) Any advertisements displayed, and any site used for the display of advertisements, shall be maintained in a clean and tidy condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Department.
Condition 3
c) Any structure or hoarding erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a safe condition.
Condition 4
d) Where an advertisement is required under these Regulations to be removed, the removal shall be carried out to the reasonable satisfaction of the Department.
Condition 5
e) No advertisement is to be displayed without permission of the owner of the site or any other person with an interest in the site entitled to grant permission.
Condition 6
f) No advertisement shall be sited or displayed so as to obscure, or hinder the ready interpretation of any traffic sign, railway or tramway signal or aid to navigation by water or air, or so as to render hazardous the use of any highway, railway, tramway, harbour or aerodrome.
