Dha Transmitter Site, Stoney Mountain Road, Eairy, Isle Of Man, IM4 3hj
Permission was granted to redevelop an existing transmitter site on Stoney Mountain Road, Eairy, Parish of Patrick, Isle of Man. The proposal involved removing the existing 17-metre mast and replacing it with a 17.5-metre monopole mast along with associated equipment cabinets. The site sits approximately 120 metres north of Stoney Mountain Road and is surrounded by agricultural fields. The nearest residential property is around 160 metres to the south west. The modest increase in mast height and the established nature of the site were relevant to the assessment. The Planning Committee approved the application on 3 July 2007, in line with the officer's recommendation, subject to five conditions.
