In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Mr & Mrs Kinrade Proposal: Convert existing barn to provide guest / tourist accommodation at: Corvalley South Bollyndale Road Ballaugh Isle of Man IM7 5AY
which was considered on 7th June 2007, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Schedule Of Conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This approval relates to the submitted documents and drawings 00459/1 and 292-01 all received on 9th March 2007.
- Prior to any works of the development, there must be submitted to and approved by the Planning Authority a scheme indicating the details of the proposed two off street parking provisions that are required to serve the needs of the development.
- The external finishes of the extension must match those of the existing building in all respects.
- The roof(s) must be finished in dark natural slate.
- The conversion of the barn to guest or tourist accommodation may be used only in association with "Corvalley South" and for purposes ancillary to the use of "Corvalley South" as a single dwelling house.
NOTE Applicant to consult with the Fire Safety Department as the proposed layout is inherently unsafe due to the staircase discharging into the lounge.
NOTE For a change in the supply to a premises (domestic or commercial) the applicant should contact the Isle of Man Water Authority Byelaws Inspector (Michael Karran), tel. 69 59 57.
This decision was made by the Director of Planning and Building control in accordance with the authority delegated to him under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

Please note that a copy of the Officer's report which led to the decision, together with correspondence relative to the application, is available for inspection at the Department.
The proposed development must not be commenced until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
