Allandale Farm, Ballamanagh Road, Sulby, Isle Of Man, IM7 2hb
This application sought permission to build a two-storey extension to the side elevation of Allandale, a property on Ballamanagh Road, Sulby, situated on the northern side of the road and to the south of Sulby Village. The application was assessed by case officer Mr Chris Balmer, who recommended approval. The key planning consideration was whether the extension would harm the visual character of the countryside or the property, and the officer concluded it would not. Permission was granted on 16 February 2007 under delegated authority, subject to two conditions.
Permission was granted by the Director of Planning and Building Control under delegated authority. The officer found that the two-storey side extension would have no adverse visual impact on the surrounding countryside or on the property itself.
