App: Proposed 2 no. Light Industrial Units, Land off Stanley Mount, Peel, for Peel Properties Limited.
This site presently is occupied by one building, used as a store and West Coast Taxis have temporary permission to park about 7 no. taxis on the land, but most of the land is overgrown.
The proposal is to clear the site and construct 2 no. small light industrial buildings and setting out the site for structured car parking.
A landscaped area is proposed between building B and Bridge Street Properties, and there are no windows overlooking any properties envisaged. The car parking and turning area will be finished with an approved surface and there are minor modifications to the entrance to ease access.
The type of business encouraged would be storage, garaging or a commercial garage, a depot or other similar activity, but not heavy plant and equipment or heavy machinery.
