Town And Country Planning Act 1999
The Town And Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005
TO: Mr. R. A. Jelski, Advocate, Dickinson Cruickshank, Masonic Buildings, Water Street, Ramsey, Isle of Man, IM8 1RD.

In pursuance of his powers under the above Acts and Order the MINISTER for Local Government and the Environment, following report by the appointed person, does hereby APPROVE the application by Mr. and Mrs. Marshall – Retention and completion of work to complete new holiday cottage, Goldies Loughan, Jurby East, Jurby, subject to compliance with the following conditions:-
- Subject to condition 2, this permission relates to the retention and completion of works to a holiday cottage originally approved as a conversion from a Manx byre as shown in drawing number P.L.11/001 and photographs stamped 29 August 2006 and a letter from Yvonne Marshall dated the 28th of August 2006.
- Prior to the recommencement of works, a revised rear elevation incorporating the door indicated on the submitted floor plan shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Planning Authority.
- Between 1st March and 1st October in any one year the holiday accommodation hereby permitted must only be used for individual lets, not exceeding four weeks in duration, to bona fide tourists. Outside of this period longer lets to bona fide tourists are permissible.
- The roofs of the building and bathroom extension must be finished in dark natural slate.
- All windows must be timber framed and must be retained as such in perpetuity.
- The doors must be timber and must be retained as such in perpetuity.
- Prior to the recommencement of works, details of the gates and gateposts shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Planning Authority and thereafter the gate shall be erected in accordance with those details.
- Prior to the recommencement of works, a sample panel of the facing stonework shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Planning Authority and thereafter the building shall be completed in accordance with those details.

- Prior to the recommencement of works, details of the hardstanding (including samples of the materials to be used) shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Planning Authority and thereafter the hardstanding shall be constructed in accordance with those details.
