No photographs but seem well worth saving and scheme leaves enough to serve as outbuildings to main house. No objections.
An A-i-P was granted here (after considerable controversy) 04/2515. We objected although accept that there maybe an element of infilling and the area around Regaby crossroads has been subject to growth but some Refusals on Appeal, too.
There is not much point in raising in-principle objections now but the proposed bungalow is of a poor and boring design and we think it could be improved.
If barn recently converted, really was redundant, then there should be no case for building a larger garage
The Society OBJECTS to un-necessary extensions on exposed sites in the countryside such as this where former outbuildings have been converted to other uses.
One each to sprout out of the pitched roof on N and S elevations. No indication of how they are to be supported โ tower, mast, bracket etc. The Society OBJECTS to this incomplete submission.
Amended plans only relate to highway visibility splays. Our original objections stand. What we said was:
Regrettably Onchan Local Plan zoned this coastal-strip land for development. However it specified no more than 3 dwellings and this dictum should be adhered to. The existing house should remain and be restored โ the greed of developers involved in this site seems to be boundless, as witnessed by the string of previous applications. The Society has repeatedly objected to these and OBJECTS likewise to this. We are VERY STRONGLY OPPOSED to new development being allowed to spread along the coastline.
