The application sought permission to erect a replacement conservatory on the side elevation of a detached dwelling at Cumberland Lodge, Glen Road, Laxey. The officer found no specific area plan policies directly applicable to the proposal. The officer concluded that the scale of development was relatively modest and in keeping with the character of the dwelling, and that it would not adversely affect public or private amenity.
