Permission was granted for the erection of stables and an outbuilding at Upper Cordeman Farm, Cordeman Road, St Marks, Ballasalla. The site is the curtilage of an existing farmhouse situated along a farm lane to the west of Cordeman Road. It is designated as white land under the 1982 Plan. During the officer's assessment, questions were raised about whether the stables would be used commercially or opened to members of the public, and clarification was sought on the construction details of the building. Condition 3
The buildings may only be used for storage and the keeping of horses and associated equipment, all in association with the occupation of "Upper Cordeman Farm" as defined on the approved plans.
