Officer's Report
The site represents the curtilage of an existing end of terrace property located on the northern side of Rowany Villas, along from the Ocean Castle Hotel towards the end of a cul-de-sac.
Proposed here is the erection of a garage in the rear yard, replacing a former garage which was blown away in the bad weather at the start of the year. The new garage will be less than 6m by 6m and could be erected under the PDO except that it is alongside the rear lane.
Getting in and out of the garage looks tight but it was clearly managed previously. The garage has no adverse impact.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
C 2. This permission relates to the erection of a garage as shown in drawings 52034-01, -02 and -03 all received on 25th October, 2005.
C 3. The garage may be used only for the storage of private motor vehicles in association with 1, Rowany Terrace.
I confirm that this decision accords with Government Circular No 57/01 (Delegation of Functions to Director of Planning and Building Control).
