Officer's Report
Shenvalley Farm is located on the eastern side of the B35 Tosaby Road between its junction with the Eairy Road (B36) and St. Mark's. The farm is designated as white land on the 1982 Plan. Previously planning permission was sought and granted for a summer house (92/1542) and an extension to an agricultural building (99/0378). Now proposed is the erection of a further agricultural building alongside the farm group and to the north. Defer for site visit.
The shed would be visible from the Eairy Road (from the north) as one proceeds towards the site from The Eairy and also from alongside the entrance (from the west). From both viewpoints the shed would sit amongst existing farm buildings and would not, in my view be intrusive. The roof should be dark-coloured.
