Isle Of Man Breweries, Queens Hotel, Queens Promenade, Douglas, Isle Of Man, IM2 4nl
The application covered two related ventilation installations at the Queens Hotel, a registered building. The first element was a retrospective application for a fresh air vent inlet and ducting mounted on the existing flat roof at the rear of the building. The second element was the installation of two 225 x 225 air bricks in the west gable wall to provide an air supply to the second floor boiler room. Both works were associated with a linked application. The Planning Committee, acting under Isle of Man planning legislation, granted permission subject to three conditions.
The Planning Committee permitted the development. The detailed reasoning is not set out in the available documents, but the committee judged the ventilation works acceptable in the context of this registered building and granted consent with three conditions attached.
