22 September 2005 · Delegated
Bramble Tor, Tromode Park, Douglas, Isle Of Man, IM2 5lb
Permission was granted at Bramble Tor, Tromode Park, Douglas for alterations to a detached house in a residential area. The works included reducing the garage entrance, removing the existing flat roof over the garage, and constructing a first floor extension to provide a bedroom, dressing room, and en-suite. The proposed first floor extension was noted to have the same dimensions as the existing ground floor garage beneath it. The officer concluded there would be no adverse impact from overlooking. The application was decided under delegated powers and two conditions were attached to the permission.
The application was permitted by delegated decision. The officer found that the first floor extension would match the footprint of the existing ground floor garage and would not cause adverse overlooking of neighbouring properties.
