Officer's Report
The site comprises the curtilage of St Nininans Church, including the Hall.
The application proposes revisions to the layout of the car-parking areas which were approved as part of 05/38.
The gist of the revision is that all of the resident’s parking spaces would now be accessed from “their” access, and all of the “church” spaces from a separate branch off the primary access route.
The approved layout was drawing number 10F Ten spaces (for residents) have now been accommodated on the lower-car park.
The objection from the Department of Transport has been addressed by widening the access road (drawing number 10p, date stamped 5th September).
There is additional land-take for parking as a consequence, but the church car-park would be increased in capacity (24 to 32), and the reduction in given space is not significant.
