In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby REFUSE the following application made on behalf of:

which was considered on 23 September 2005, for the reasons set out below.

Reasons For Refusal:
- The site is in the countryside and is within an Area of High Landscape Value and Scenic Significance; in such circumstances; and despite the modest appearance of the existing building, proposals to increase significantly the size and scale of the building should be designed such as to achieve a finished building of appropriately rural appearance and character; the submitted plans fail completely to achieve this objective.
- This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
