Officer's Report
The site represents the curtilage of Castle Rushen high School, allocated as such on the Castletown Local Plan adopted by Tynwald in 1991. Proposed here is the replacement of existing catch fencing around the pitch at the south eastern end of the site. This would be 4m, replacing fencing which is 2.5 to 3m high and of a slightly different and more resilient design.
The pitch is relatively close to existing residential property 15m and as such, the erection of catch fencing which is effective, is important. No objections have been received from the residents of these properties.
