Permission was granted for the erection of 4m high ball court fencing to replace existing catch fencing at the Southern Synthetic Pitch, Castle Rushen High School, Arbory Road, Castletown. The proposal involved replacing fencing at the south eastern end of the pitch. The new fencing would stand at 4m, compared to the existing 2.5 to 3m fencing, and would be of a slightly different and more resilient design. The site sits within the curtilage of Castle Rushen High School, which is allocated as such in the Castletown Local Plan. The application was decided by delegated authority and approved with two conditions.
The application was permitted by delegated decision. The proposal involved replacing existing catch fencing at the south eastern end of the school's synthetic pitch with taller, more resilient fencing, and was considered acceptable in its school grounds setting.
Condition 1
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
This approval relates to the erection of replacement fencing as shown in drawings C01 Rev 11 and the location plan and the photographs all received on 13th June, 2005.
