Permission was granted at Ballaconneeyn (formerly The Warren) on Clanna Road, Santon, for the erection of a general purpose building. The building was intended to store a motor caravan, garden equipment, a tractor and trailer, and classic cars. The site is a field to the west of Clenagh Road, associated with an existing dwelling. The officer recommended approval and the Director of Planning approved the application under delegated powers on 25 July 2005. The decision was subject to four conditions.
The application was approved by the Director of Planning under delegated powers. Permission was granted to erect a general purpose building at the property, formerly known as The Warren, for storing a motor caravan, garden equipment, a tractor and trailer, and classic cars.
Condition 1
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
This approval relates to the extension of the existing driveway and the erection of a general purpose building for storage of private motor vehicles and garden equipment all associated with "Ballaconneyn" (formerly "The Warren"), as show in the drawings received on 18th April, 2005.
Condition 3
All external finishes to the building must be coloured dark green.
Condition 4
The site must have a safe means of access and egress. As such, prior to the commencement of works on the proposed building or driveway extension, the hedges/banks on both sides of the access along the edge of the property and Clannagh Road should be lowered, such that the height of the hedge is no more than 1.05m above ground level as measured alongside the hedge.
