Officer's Report

The site relates to an area of land to the south of West Baldwin Village on the eastern side of the highway. The Draft Braddan Plan 2003 identifies the site as Woodland and most of it falls within an area of 'ecological interest'.

It is proposed to change the use of the site from private open space to public open space.

There are already a number of access gates onto the highway.

This is an acceptable proposal.
