SCHEDULE OF CONDITIONS Application No 99/0326
- This approval is in principle only and will remain valid for a period of two years within which time no development may take place until such time as details of the reserved matters (siting, design, external appearance, internal layout, means of access, landscaping) have been approved by the Planning Authority. Such reserved matters should form the subject of a single application.
- Whilst the Department has no objection to the erection of an extension to the existing adjacent warehouse per se, nor to an extension in similar materials and design as the existing warehouse, the applicant should take note of the proximity to the existing small stone cottage and its garden and as such the extension should represent a decrease in scale compared with that of the existing warehouse and a sympathetic approach to the amenities of the garden of the cottage. Note should also be taken of the relationship of the site with the Memorial Hall which is of architectural interest: the new building must not adversely affect the setting of this building.
- There must be no discharge of surface water to the main foul sewer.
NOTE: This decision was made by the Director of Planning in accordance with powers delegated to him under Paragraph 2 (6) (b) of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982
