The property is an existing dwelling - a much extended version of the very modest cottage which originally stood on the site. Various extensions have been approved resulting in a very large house, not dissimilar to other large houses nearby.
The most recent application proposed a further extension and a new access.
Now proposed are alterations to the approved extension: replacing a slate roofed link between the house and garage with a glazed roofed link and the installation of rooflights in the rear of the garage.
Also proposed is the raising the ridge level of the playroom and lowering of the level of the garage and the installation of a window in the gable of the extension.
Whilst the Commissioners are concerned that this property is increasing in size, there is no proposal in this application for the increase in size, only the alteration of what already has approval.
