This application sought approval for amendments to extensions that had previously been permitted at Starley Cottage, Port Lewaigue, Ramsey. The changes related to an earlier approval for extensions to the dwelling (reference 03/00559B). The officer's report noted that the existing dwelling was already a much extended version of what had originally been a very modest cottage, resulting in a very large house. Condition 1
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
This approval relates to the alterations to the link, installation of gable window, alterations to the ridges of the proposed garage and playroom and installation of rooflights to the already approved extension (PA 03/0559) as shown in drawings reference 03/210/19(b) and 04/1139/1(b).
Condition 3
There must be no discharge of surface water to the main foul sewer.
Condition 4
The Chief Fire Officer recommends the installation of mains wired interconnected domestic smoke detection.
