13 December 2004 · Committee
Ashdene, Sandygate, Ramsey, Isle Of Man, IM7 3aq
The application sought to alter an existing garage within the curtilage of a detached dwelling at Sandygate, Jurby. The proposed works involved raising the height of the garage by replacing the existing roof with a double pitched roof. A neighbour raised concerns about a potential overhanging element, and in response the applicant submitted an amended drawing that removed any overhang. The Planning Committee granted permission on 13 December 2004, in line with the officer's recommendation.
The officer considered the alterations to be relatively unobjectionable. The amended drawings addressed the only specific concern raised — potential overhanging onto a neighbouring property — and the proposal was approved by the Planning Committee with two conditions attached.

Condition 2
