In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:

which was considered on 18 February 2005, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Schedule Of Conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This approval relates to the erection of additional units for dry light industrial purposes including storage, as shown in drawings reference AT 652.1, -2 and -3 all received on 12th May, 2004.
- There must be no discharge of surface water to the main foul sewer.
- No construction work may commence on site until such times as:
a) the surface water system has been upgraded to ensure that existing downstream flooding problems are not exacerbated b) the line of the existing public sewerage which crosses the site has been identified and protected and c) full surface water calculations have been provided to the Drainage Division of Department of Transport.
- The proposed development must be connected to the main foul sewer.
NOTE: A Drainage Connection Fee will be payable to the Drainage Authority on this development
NOTE The foul and surface water drains serving the proposed units, up to the point of connection to the public sewerage system will remain private at all times. The applicant must discuss with the Drainage Division of DoT, the position and mode of the proposed connection to the foul sewer T prior to any works commencing on site.
NOTE It should be noted that it is an offence under Manx legislation to permit the discharge of polluting or harmful matter to any public sewer or watercourse. Appropriate measures must be taken by the developer/occupier of the premises to ensure compliance with the legislation.
This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
Note 1: This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning Acts and does not include any consent or approval under any other enactment, bylaw, order or regulation.
Note 2: No works may be commenced until such time as -
- the time for requesting a review of the initial decision has expired; or
- any review of the initial decision has been completed; or
- the time for requesting an appeal in relation to the decision has expired; or
- any appeal has been completed.
