The previous application 02/2280 was refused at appeal. This new application is the result of discussions with the applicants agent. The application takes a simpler route in design terms to its predecessor and is more successful because of it. It is a vital difficult to understand what is suggested in terms of framing, material, but one or two notes on the drawings suggest "a very simple fenestration to this simple buildings." The site is within the North Quay Conservation Area, and is zoned for Town Centre uses. The site was the subject of PA 02/2250; the present application is an amendment of that proposal. 3. The amendments are to the new fenestration, omitting much of what was previously judged to be over-elaborate detail not in character with the warehouse building. 4. Refer to S. Moore.
