Officer's Report
Approval was granted at Appeal for two replacement dwellings at Upper Ballaclucas under PA 04/640.
It is now proposed to re-site Plot 2 further back on the site. Whilst it has not been stated, it is likely that it is the intention to live in the existing house whilst the new house is being built. There would be less garden space to the rear of the new dwelling but there is unlikely to be any harm to the character of the area generally by re-siting the dwelling.
It is also proposed to install French doors in the north western gable and utilise the roof space by installing a number of roof lights on the rear elevation. Both these alterations are considered acceptable.
Note: An amended application form was requested and received, changing the 'box ticked' from reserved matters to full approval.
