Planning Report PA 03/1933Site visit?Y ### The Site Ballakerkey Farm, Shore Road, Glen Maye ### The Proposal Erection of replacement dwelling. AiP was granted under PA 02/1477 ### The Planning History PA 02/1477 - AiP to erect replacement dwelling approved 22/1/03 ### Views/Comments - Patrick Comms. – felt it should be more 'Manx' and simpler in design - Highways – No objections - Water – Notes only ### Assessment The house has been designed in an attempt to make it look like a traditional dwelling which has been integrated into a stone barn. It has vertical proportions and the stonework breaks up the mass of whitwender. The east and south elevations are the most important in terms of views from the adjacent road. The size of the curtilage is considered appropriate, as are the landscaping arrangements. The AHP states that the replacement must be no less than 62m² - it is 154m² existing is 156m² ### Recommendation Approve20/2/04 Diane Robinson
