Officer's Report
The site relates to 21 Church Street, Peel.
It is a terraced property within the Peel Conservation Area.
Proposed are replacement windows:
- (a) woodgrain sliding sash upvc to the front. (b) woodgrain casement upvc to the rear. (c) woodgrain effect upvc doors to front and rear. Other purposes have been allowed upvc windows but in white. Whilst the door to the front is to be panelled, a different colour would be more acceptable. The alterations to the rear are acceptable.
The Conservation Section advises against the use of Mahogany upvc. All would be out of keeping on the front elevation.
