Ballacamaine Farm, Ballacorey Road, Bride, Isle Of Man, IM7 4aw
This application sought minor amendments to a previously approved agricultural workers dwelling and farm office at Ballacamaine Farm (approved under reference 20/00675/B). The proposed changes comprised the addition of rooflights, alterations to the sizes of windows and doors, and the replacement of balustrades with solid walls. The officer assessed the changes against the statutory minor change criteria. Each test was passed: the amendments do not increase the size or scale of the development, do not change its nature, do not cause the approval to fall out of compliance with the Development Plan or relevant policy, and do not introduce new or increased adverse impacts on neighbouring properties or the environment. The changes were judged to be genuinely minor and not of a magnitude requiring a fresh full application, leaving the basis of the original approval intact.
All statutory minor change tests were satisfied. The alterations do not increase the scale of the development, do not change its nature, maintain policy compliance, and introduce no new adverse impacts on neighbours or the environment. The changes were accepted in full.
