30 October 2018 · Committee
New Bungalow, Glebe Farm, 211 St Marks To Ballamodha, St Marks, Ballasalla, Isle Of Man, IM9 3ah
This application sought to vary condition 3 of a 2003 planning permission (PA 03/00234/B) which had allowed the conversion of an outbuilding to a dwelling at Glebe Bungalow, Glebe Farm Stables, Ballasalla. The condition in question restricted occupation of the dwelling to someone with an equestrian ownership interest. The applicants, Mr William and Mrs Joanne Cubbon, applied to have that restriction changed. The application was considered by the Committee of the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture and was approved on 30 October 2018, in line with the officer's recommendation. One condition was attached to the permission. The site has a planning history of at least four related applications dating back to 2003.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, acting through its Committee, approved the variation. The decision removes or amends the condition that restricted occupation of the converted dwelling to equestrian owners, as originally attached to the 2003 permission for converting an outbuilding to a dwelling.
