How do I search for planning applications on the Isle of Man?

Search by reference, address, postcode, parish, or keyword. The current V3 search covers planning applications and their structured metadata.

Can I search by exact application reference?

Yes. Enter a reference such as 24/00182/B. Exact matches redirect straight to the application page when V3 returns a single result.

Does this search include documents, objections, or appeals?

Not yet. This sprint restores application search first. Wider multi-index search will be added separately once the frontend and backend surface are rebuilt for it.

Can I search by postcode?

Yes. Postcode searches are sent to the V3 application search endpoint and return nearby matching planning applications when the API recognises the postcode.
