{{table:323983}} The Highways Division of the Department of Infrastructure Peel Town Commissioners ### Assessment The proposed use has the potential to generate additional traffic to the building however the Highways Division has considered the proposal and do not object to it. The additional use would provide a new facility for tourists and residents, increasing choice to users. Commercial competition is not a material planning consideration and cannot be taken into account when determining this application. Any changes to the building resulting from this development would be internal and would not affect the character of the Conservation Area. Should new or additional signage be required, this would have to form the basis of a separate planning application. ### Recommendation Permit. ### Party Status It is considered that the following parties, who submitted comments, accord with the requirements of Planning Circular 1/06 and are therefore, afforded Interested Party Status: - Peel Town Commissioners Accordingly the following parties are not granted Interested Party Status: The Highways Division and the Planning Authority are both part of the Department of Infrastructure.
