The original graveyard surrounds the Parish Church and an extension formed to the east which is now full.
The existing graveyards are surrounded by a 1.2 metre high stone wall and it is proposed that this wall will be continued to the east and to the north of the new graveyard extension.
Access to the graveyards is generally through small personnel gates but the grave diggers access is through the large gate near to the War Memorial and a further gate north of the meeting hall. There are no access roads within the graveyard, indeed there are now no longer any concrete paths thus a small excavator is able to work along grassed areas accessing the various plots.
