The Commissioners wish to submit their views on the following planning applications:-
08/02020 Mr and Mrs Mallard Drakes Glen Auldyn - Conversion of outbuilding to ancillary/tourist accommodation. Chris Roberts declared an interest. Majority approved.
08/02047 Milntown Trust Milntown Lezayre Road - Installation of car park lighting and creation of landscaped grass mounding. Approved unanimous. The Commissioners commented that white light would be preferable.
08/02049 Milntown Trust Milntown, Lezayre Road - Reg Building consent for installation of car park lighting and creation of landscaped grass mounding. Approved unanimous. The Commissioners commented that white light would be preferable.
08/02065/B Sulby School Main Road Sulby - Erection of Shelter. Approved unanimous.
08/02076/B Ms Kate Tebay 13 St Stephens Meadow, Sulby – Erection of single storey extension to rear elevation and a porch extension to front elevation. Chris Birchenough declared an interest. . Approved unanimous.
08/02096/REM Mr Bibby and Mrs Christian Land adjacent to Allandale Farm, Ballamanagh Road Sulby – Reserved matters application for the erection of a detached dwelling. Refused unanimous. The dwelling should be a single storey and sized in keeping with surrounding properties.
08/02/100/B Mr J Thelwell Crawley Field no 134902 Garey Garey Road Lezayre – Erection of Storage Building. Approved unanimous.
08/02/148/B Mr Parker Race Cottage Glen Auldyn Lezayre – Alterations and extension. Refused Majority. The proposed extension encroaches on the next door property. It is too close to the boundary.
08/02/154/B Mr M Tramontana Conway, Lezayre Road, Lezayre- Erection of Extension. Approved unanimous.
