In pursuance of their powers under the above Acts and Order the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Isle of Man Local Government Board does hereby REFUSE the application made by you on behalf of
Estate of Miss E. McQuaid, Change of use of workroom and store to living accommodation, Phoenix Cottage, Ballacorey Road, Bride which was considered at a meeting held on the 8th August, 1986, for the reasons set out on the attached schedule. Dated this 21st August, 1986.

Effect of initial decisions
- (1) An initial decision shall not have effect until the time for applying for a review of the decision has expired and, if such an application is duly made, until the review thereof, and any subsequent appeal in respect thereof, has been finally disposed of or until the relevant times for appeal have expired or the relevant appeal has been duly withdrawn.

- The proposed development would be contrary to the terms of the original planning approval granted under IDO 50859 on the 14th December 1979; the creation of a new dwelling would be contrary to the policies of the Board's Development Plan.
