Reasons For Refusal
Application Ref No 01/01951/A
The plans submitter in this application include only the area of the proposed dwelling and not the existing cottage which is to be replaced. As such, the Planning Committee could not legitimately control by condition the removal of the existing property, Rose Cottage and as a result, the new dwelling would represent a new dwelling in the countryside in an ares not designated for new development.
This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accorciance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
