Industrial Starter Units Middle Farm, Richmond Hill, Douglas, Isle Of Man, IM4 1jl
Permission was granted for the erection of industrial starter units on land adjacent to the Energy from Waste Facility at Kewaigue, Douglas, in the parish of Braddan. The site lies to the east of the facility in the Richmond Hill area, with access via the A6. The application incorporated several amendments to an earlier planning permission. These included an increase in the floorspace of units in blocks A and B from 138 sq.m. to 187 sq.m., the provision of four additional car parking spaces, and a change to the overall shape of those blocks. The decision was made by the Acting Senior Planning Officer under delegated authority and was approved subject to three conditions.
The application was approved by a delegated officer on 14 November 2008. The proposal involved amendments to an earlier permission, including larger unit floorspace, additional parking, and a revised building layout, all of which were accepted.
