Site
The application site forms the residential curtilage of 40 Carrick Park, Sulby, which is a single storey detached property located on the southern side of the Carrick Park and south of the Sulby Bridge.
Land Use Zoing / Planning Policy
The application site is within the area covered by the Sulby Local Plan Order 1998. Under this the application site is within an area recognised as being in an area of ‘predominately residential’, the site is not within an area of High Landscape Value or Costal Value and Scenic Significance.
Planning History
There are no previous planning applications which are considered relevant in the assessment and determination of this application.
Proposal
The application seeks approval for the window alteration to front elevation.

The Authority has received no privately written representations objecting to the application.
Assessment / Recommendation
The proposal is a very minor alteration which will have no adverse impact upon the residential amenities of the neighbouring properties. Additionally, the proposal would have no adverse impact upon the visual appearance of the existing dwelling and/or street scene.
For these reasons the proposals would seem appropriate in these locations and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.
