17th March 2008 Dear sir/ madam, With reference to our planning application for a replacement dwelling, we write with further information in support of our application.
At the moment the existing cluster of buildings does not contribute positively in its appearance or character to the countryside. There are different roof pitches and styles, and various building materials have been used throughout the property. There are currently 5 buildings on the site which make up the main residence, they are sprawled over a large area and all are of different build periods which are uncomplimentary to one another and to the overall environment.
We would like to replace these buildings with one that would result in an overall environmental improvement. The replacement dwelling would also use the existing stone and materials to conform with the vernacular.
Finally, the approval of the replacement dwelling would allow us to comply with the existing agricultural tie as the replacement dwelling would be able to accommodate our entire family.
We look forward to hearing from you in due course. Yours faithfully, Mr and Mrs T Roberts
