The application sought permission to erect a garage on the side and a conservatory on the rear of a semi-detached dwelling in Lezayre Park, Ramsey, a predominantly residential area under the Ramsey Local Plan Order 1998. The officer noted that while the quality of the submitted drawings was limited, they were sufficient to assess the proposal. Both additions were considered domestic in scale and consistent with the character of the existing dwelling. The impact on the amenity of the surrounding area was assessed as acceptable. Permission was granted by delegated decision in June 2008, subject to two conditions.
