Dear Sirs,
Planning Applications
PA 08/0836/B - Extension to dwelling, Little Trees Main Road Glen Vine, Marown. PA 08/0838/B - Alterations and extension, Garey Voallit The Crofts, Castletown. PA 08/0864/B - Erection of a conservatory on side elevation, Asphalion House 13 Mountain View, Ballaugh.
The Drainage Division of the Department of Transport has assessed the above planning application and would like to submit the following comments to your Planning Committee.
No Objection subject to the following conditions:- There must be NO discharge of surface water (including that from roofs and paved areas) from this proposed development to any foul drainage system(s) so as to comply with the requirements of the Department of Transport Drainage Division and the Sewerage Act 1999.
The application states that the surface water from the proposed development is to be discharged to the "existing drainage". If this "existing drainage" discharges (directly or indirectly) to the foul sewerage system then it should be noted that an alternative means of surface water disposal must be provided.
In the event that this application is approved I should be grateful if these comments could be incorporated in the approval notice.
Yours faithfully, John Kneen Development Control Technician.
