In pursuance of his powers under the above Acts and Order the MINISTER for Local Government and the Environment, following report by the appointed person, does hereby REFUSE the application by you for a) Installation of UPVC windows and doors to replace existing to front and side elevations, 29/30 Shore Road, Peel, for the following reason:-
The proposed replacement windows and doors by reason of their design and material of construction, would result in the loss of detail that would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the dwellings within the Conservation Area.

In pursuance of his powers under the above Acts and Order the MINISTER for Local Government and the Environment, following report by the appointed person, does hereby APPROVE the application by you for b) Installation of UPVC windows and doors to replace existing to rear elevation, 29/30 Shore Road, Peel, subject to compliance with the following conditions:-
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This permission relates to the submitted drawings date-stamped 26.07.06, but only insofar as those drawings show details of the rear windows and door.
- Details of the sections to be employed in all members of the windows and doors, the method of jointing, the means of application of any decoration, and the colour of materials to be used must be submitted to and approved by the Planning Committee prior to the commencement of any works.
