Planning approval is sought for the relocation of the 'Bruce' Anchor from its current location adjacent to the swing bridge to land adjacent to the 'Bottleneck' car park.

The application indicate that the art work will not be re-located until works have been carried out to the car park entrance and the Department of Transport Highways Division has requested a condition be attached that confirms this phasing. It is also proposed to provide uplighters beneath the anchor.

The re-location of the art work and lighting are considered to be acceptable. It is recommended that the following parties are accorded Interested Party Status in accordance with Government Circular 1/06: Department of Transport Highways Division<br/>Douglas Corporation

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This approval relates to the plans and information submitted as part of this application and date stamped 18th February 2008.

C 3. The 'Bruce'anchor may not be re-located prior to the completion of works to the Bottleneck car park entrance.
